Celebrate 50 years of Pride with Channel 4! Find out what's on this Pride weekend and how we're helping advertisers get involved in Pride Month this year.

Pride is here, and this year, it’s bigger than ever! Here’s what we’ve got in store for Pride weekend across Channel 4 and All 4, along with some of our best resources for advertisers about LGBTQ+ representation.

What to watch this Pride Weekend

From films and documentaries to special editions of familiar favourites, we’re rounding up Pride Month with loads of essential viewing.

We’ve commissioned 2 brilliant new documentaries that capture the achievements and challenges of the LGBTQ+ rights movement over the past 50 years: 50 Years of Pride, which explores the history of the UK Pride movement, and April Ashley, an in-depth feature of one of the UK’s most prominent transgender women.

Some of our most popular shows will also be getting Pride Month makeovers. Celebrity Gogglebox will include some of Britain’s most beloved LGBTQ+ personalities, while Naked Attraction and First Dates will get new Pride compilations that highlight some of their most memorable LGBTQ+ guests.

To top it off, we’ve got three LGBTQ+ films scheduled across the weekend. Tune in for rom-com Love Simon, Elton John biopic Rocketman, and moving romantic drama God’s Own Country.

Pride on demand with All 4’s Pride Month Collection

If you need some bingeworthy watches this Pride, we’ve got plenty to keep you entertained. Our Proud All Over collection takes some of our best LGBTQ+ content and puts it all in one place, on demand, on All 4.

We’ve been showing groundbreaking LGBTQ+ content for 40 years, and our Proud All Over collection is full of hidden gems. At its heart is the Russell T Davies collection, which includes Cucumber, Banana, Tofu, Queer as Folk, and the critically acclaimed It’s A Sin.

Upon its launch, It’s A Sin helped to drive HIV testing, and it soon became the most binged new series in All 4 history. If you’ve not already seen it, or just fancy a rewatch, now’s the perfect time.

To help us celebrate our Pride collection, we’ve joined forces with Superdrug. With their help, we’ve organised the Big Pride Party hosted by Joe Lycett: a two-hour programme live from Birmingham that’s bursting with LGBTQ+ culture, humour and mischief.

With guests such as Heartstopper stars Joe Locke and Yasmin Finney, Ru Paul’s Drag Race queens Tia Kofi and Lawrence Chaney, and performances from acts like Boy George and Culture Club, Steps, and Self Esteem, our Big Pride Party isn’t one to miss.

Celebrating Pride Month by spreading awareness

Championing underrepresented voices has always been a part of Channel 4’s DNA - and we don’t want to stop with our content. As part of our Pride Month plans, we’re encouraging advertisers to join the party and learn more about the LGBTQ+ community.

Our LGBTQ+ focused 4Talks collection is available now to watch on demand. Covering topics like trans representation, LGBTQ+ stereotypes in advertising and the role of brands in celebrating Pride Month, there’s loads for advertisers to learn about over at our website. You can watch all of our LGBTQ+ 4Talks here.

As part of our Pride Month festivities, we’re also encouraging all our agencies to fly the flag for Pride. Make sure to keep an eye out for Pride themed creative across our advertising this weekend.

Whether you’re joining us on Channel 4, All 4 or behind the scenes, we can’t wait to celebrate Pride Month with you!
