We are therefore disappointed that Government has decided to move ahead with a pre 9pm watershed from the end of 2022, when their evidence shows that it will only reduce a child’s calorie intake by 1.7 calories per day.
Working alongside industry bodies, we will continue to engage with Government during the coming weeks and months.
