Levi's & Queer Britain launches new campaign 'House Proud'

Today see’s the launch of Levi’s & Queer Britain’s brilliant campaign House Proud, created by 4Studio

Levi’s have a long-standing partnership with Queer Britain, a charity working to establish the UK’s first national LGBTQ+ museum, which will be an essential place for all regardless of sexuality or gender identity, to find out about the culture they have been born into.

For many members of the LGBTQ+ community, this year has been a challenge. Often people within the community live within spaces where they cannot be their authentic selves.

Yet in the past year we’ve also seen the soaring popularity of shows like It’s A Sin and Pose – programmes that depict LGBTQ+ people living together happily, being unapologetically themselves.

Levi’s and Queer Britain wanted to raise awareness of this important topic, to inspire and educate the UK of all the positive ways members of the LGBTQ+ communities come together and create their own ways of living.

Channel 4’s award-winning in-house social media team 4Studio created a bespoke social media campaign House Proud to shine a light on these stories through heart-warming interviews which delve into the intergenerational conversations of LGBTQIA households across the UK as they share their stories of pride, progress and activism while getting ready for a photoshoot for the Queer Britain museum.

4Studio created House Proud in conjunction with Indie production company The Connected Set, a gay owned business with a history of producing sensitive but entertaining content featuring LGBTQIA contributors and themes.

The campaign will run across Channel 4’s Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Snap & TikTok.
