UKTV's channel Gold which celebrates Britain's best-loved comedy will be spotlighting a new 5 part series, Billy Connolly… Does at the upcoming 4Sales Content Showcase. The series will see the legendary comic take a reflective look back at 50 years of stand up and will provide an unrivalled glimpse into his life.
To celebrate its launch, we are giving all attendees the chance to win a trip for 2 to Glasgow for a 2 night adventure, where you can explore and discover Connolly’s birthplace.
Have a drink at the Scotia Bar, one of the first places Billy played in in his folk band, catch a comedy show at the Pavilion Theatre where Billy did his first solo comedy gig and finally catch a Celtic match at home where Billy has a seat for life.
Terms & Conditions
1. To enter the competition, you will need to register to attend the Content Showcase taking place on the 25th November at 11am, submitting your full name, company, and work email address.
2. The competition is open to all attendees of the event. If you do not attend you are not eligible to win.
3. One winner will be picked at random from the list of attendees provided after the event by Welcome (our virtual event platform).
4. The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over employed in an organisation that has an advertising relationship with 4Sales. Please ensure you register using your work email address ONLY.
5. The winner will be notified by email that they have won and will have 7 days to respond to notification accepting their prize. Should no response be received after 7 days another winner may be selected. The winner’s name will be passed to a third party, NDL Group, who will arrange travel.

Prize Details
7. The winner, who will be selected at random will receive:
- Return travel for two people to Glasgow, Scotland
- 2 nights accommodation for two people at a centrally located 4 star hotel
- Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant each morning
- Drinks for two people at the Scotia Bar
- 2x tickets to a gig of the winner's choice at the Pavilion Theatre
- 2x standard match tickets to a Celtics match at Celtic Park
8. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of NDL Group and excludes bank holidays, Valentine’s day/weekend and school holiday periods, specifically the Christmas holidays, summer holidays, spring and autumn half terms and Easter.
9.The prize includes travel (either by train or aeroplane) and transfers based on where the winner lives. Train travel will be off peak and will need to be booked with NDL Group at least 6 weeks before the winner plans to travel. Off peak refers to travel booked outside of morning and evening commuter periods, this varies depending on the train operator but generally excludes departures between 0600-1000 and 1600-1900. Flights will be return economy class; all flight taxes and surcharges are included but doesn’t include any checked in luggage. Subject to availability, departure airport used will be the winner’s nearest international airport that operates direct flights to Glasgow. Please note, this may not be the winner’s closest airport. If the winner doesn’t hold a UK passport you may need a visa for this destination, and this should be arranged with the appropriate embassy at the winner’s cost. Transfers to and from the winner’s home and to and from the hotel will be arranged for both train and flights. Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers. Alternatively, a travel allowance can be provided for the winner to travel in their own vehicle or car hire can be arranged. For car hire the driver needs to be over the age of 25 and have held a full clean driver’s licence for a minimum of 2 years. Fully inclusive refers to unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, local taxes and airport fees. The driver will need to provide the car hire company with a personal credit card that has £500 -£1,000 (variant depending on company) available for a security deposit that is refundable to your card upon the safe return of the vehicle.
10. The winner will be staying in a 4* hotel, sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. If the winner prefers a twin room, NDL Group will do what they can to secure this for you, but it cannot be guaranteed.
11. Drinks at the Scotia Bar will be based on a £50 bar tab for two people, paid to the winner in advance of trip. Entrance is based on a right of admission reserved policy. Entrance to the venue can’t be guaranteed and is at the door persons discretion, entrants must be aged 18 and over. Passport/Photo ID may be required so please ensure you take this with you. Funds of £50will be transferred directly to the winner upon confirmation of full and correct bank details. Transfers can take up to 5 working days.
12. Theatre tickets are subject to availability at the time of booking. Theatre tickets of the winner’s choice do not include tickets for sold out events. NDL will book theatre tickets on the winner’s behalf.
13. Tickets to a Celtic match at Celtic park will be based on standard sitting up to the value of £30 per person and are subject to availability. NDL will book match tickets on the winner’s behalf..
14. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.
16. The winner is responsible for any additional costs that may arise as a result of accepting this prize.
15. The winner’s guest must be aged 18 years of age or older.
16. Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended. All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time.
17. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform NDL Group of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their guest when taking up the prize. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that the traveling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the prize provider.
